Les Orres resort: open from December 9 to April 7, 2024. Approx. 35 min drive.
Vars Risoul resort: opening of the Forêt Blanche ski area from December 15 to April 7, 2024. Approx. 1 hour's drive
Réallon resort: open from December 23 to March 31, 2024. Approx. 25 min drive

A fishing holiday in the mountains
Our Le Grand Large campsite has been specially designed and equipped to facilitate your fishing holidays. The campsite has been awarded the"Fishing Accommodation" label by the French Fishing Federation. This label requires compliance with a quality charter and guarantees you accommodation adapted to the needs of fishermen.
Fishermen and boaters will be delighted by the harbour reserved for campsite guests, accessible directly from the beach. A boat launch and trailer parking area are located right next to the campsite. A floating pontoon with access from the beach facilitates boarding of crew and equipment. Some forty mooring buoys are available for hire, for the enjoyment of the whole family.
Don't forget to reserve your buoy with trailer parking for your stay !
Come and fish all year round in and around Camping Le Grand Large!
Many species can be caught from the lakeside or from a boat: trout, pike, perch, carp, bleak, roach, gudgeon, etc...
Lac de Serre-Ponçon, le plan d'eau des Bouchards, le torrent de Réallon and Lac Saint Apollinaire, ... a multitude of fishing opportunities around Savines le Lac.
You can buy your fishing pass directly from the reception desk at Camping Le Grand Large.

2024 program in progress
Savines-le-Lac Summer Events
From mid-July to the end of August, the commune of Savines-le-Lac and its shopkeepers offer free entertainment for young and old in the village: fireworks with sound effects, musical trail in the forest, concert, welcome drink...
You can meet our local producers at the markets held on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 8am to 1pm on the Place de l'Église, about 20 minutes' walk from Le Grand Large campsite.
In the heart of the village, you'll also find all kinds of shops all year round: bakeries, butchers, supermarkets, tobacconists, chemists...
