1. Reservation
Campsite rental conditions:
Stays in accommodation last a minimum of 2 nights in low season (excluding special weekends and July and August) and a minimum of 7 days in July and August. Arrivals are scheduled between 3pm and 7pm, departures before 10am. Arrangements may be made in low season, subject to availability, when rentals are not taken back immediately. Please ask at the campsite reception desk on arrival. Low-season arrivals are not subject to a specific day of arrival. In July and August arrivals are from Saturday to Saturday.
Campsite pitch conditions :
For pitches, arrival and departure days are free. No minimum length of stay. Arrivals are from 14h and departures before 12h.
How to book?
Book online, by phone or by e-mail.
A reservation option is valid for 10 days. Without receipt of the 30% deposit and the booking contract, the option will be cancelled after this period.
Reservations become effective on receipt of the deposit (see part 2 "Payment of reservation"), a paper or digital reservation contract and confirmation by e-mail from the campsite.
2.Rates
The rates shown on the website are basic rates and do not include additional options or tourist tax. Camping Le Grand Large reserves the right to increase or decrease rates during the season. A promotion cannot be applied to a reservation that has already been paid for and validated.
The current tourist tax for Camping Le Grand Large is 0.60€/night/adult.
Effective December 19, 2023, lhe departmental council has instituted an additional tax of 10% to the tourist tax levied in the département by the communes referred to in article L. 2333-26 and by the public establishments for inter-communal cooperation referred to in 1° to 3° of I of article L. 5211-21, by decision of the deliberative body taken under the conditions set out in article L. 2333-26.
From January1, 2024, the tourist tax in force will therefore be €0.66/night/adult.
3. Payment of your reservation
On receipt of any payment, deposit or balance, even without a signed contract, the campsite will consider the general conditions of sale to have been read and accepted by the customer.
Payment of deposit :
A deposit of 30% of the total cost of your stay is required to guarantee your reservation. The balance must be paid in full 15 days before the start of your stay. For bookings less than 15 days before the start of your stay, the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
Payment in full :
Full payment must be made in cash, credit card, bank transfer, cheque or ANCV cheque no later than 15 days before arrival. You may also request to pay in instalments at no extra charge. The campsite reserves the right to cancel your booking in the event of non-payment of the balance by the due date, and to retain your 30% deposit.
4. Booking confirmation
Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of your signed contract (or validated on the internet) and the deposit received by digital or postal mail.
Reservations are only effectiveafter confirmation from us by e-mail.
If we are unable to meet your request due to lack of availability, we will return your deposit as soon as possible.
Reservations are only binding on Camping Le Grand Large, if Camping Le Grand Large has accepted them, which Camping Le Grand Large is free to do or refuse, depending on availabilitý, and generally speaking, any circumstances likely to affect the execution of the reservation made.
Camping Le Grand Large offers family-oriented holidays, in the traditional sense, and the accommodation is specially designed for this purpose. Camping Le Grand Large reserves the right to refuse any booking which is contrary to this principle, or which seeks to divert it.
NO COOLING-OFF PERIOD
In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, Camping Le Grand Large informs its customers that the sale of accommodation services provided on a specific date, or according to a specific period́, is not subject to the provisions relating to the 14-day withdrawal period.
GROUP RESERVATIONS
- Any booking of more than 4 accommodations by the same natural person or by different natural persons but knowing each other and traveling together for the same
same reasons on the same dates at Camping Le Grand Large is considered as a group.
- The accommodation offered on the Camping Le Grand Large website is exclusively intended for individual customers.
- For all group reservation requests, you must contact Camping Le Grand Large by telephone or email. Camping Le Grand Large reserves the right to examine your reservation request before accepting or refusing it.
5.Rental accommodation: TAOS chalets and mobile homes
The management of Camping Le Grand Large reserves the right to change the allocation of an accommodation for another with identical service for better management of planning.
Pets are not allowed in rentals. In the event of non-compliance with the rules and regulations, the management reserves the right to interrupt the stay without refund. Rentals are strictly personal and may not be transferred or sublet without the consent of the campsite management. Camping Le Grand Large reserves the right to refuse access to the campsite to groups or families arriving with a number of participants greater than the capacity of the rented accommodation.
On arrival
On the day of your arrival at Camping Le Grand Large, you will be welcomed from 3:00 p.m., and when you are given the keys to your rental unit, you will be asked to pay a deposit of 325€ before the rental unit is delivered (250€ for the rental unit and its equipment, plus a deposit of 75€ for cleaning). This can be paid by cheque or bank transfer.
Possibility of requesting the cleaning option upon reservation or arrival for 75€ (excluding cleaning of cutlery, kitchen utensils and dustbin). This option can be booked up to 48 hours before your departure.
The deposit will be returned to you on departure after an inventory of fixtures, subject to the equipment being returned in good condition.
An inventory sheet will be given to you on arrival. Report any anomaly before 12 noon on the day following your arrival. Complaints made after this time will not be taken into account.
We offer a range of services for which you can ask at reception.
On the day of departure
An inventory of fixtures will be made on the day of your departure. An appointment must be made at the latest the day before departure and will be established according to the schedule for the inventory of fixtures. As a reminder, departures are between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., with an inventory of fixtures at 9 a.m. maximum if you have subscribed to the cleaning package.
Any costs incurred for repairing missing or damaged equipment will be invoiced (the campsite reserves the right to keep all or part of the security deposit). If the accommodation is not left in a clean and tidy condition, the €75 cleaning deposit will be cashed and invoiced. For late departures, an additional day may be charged at the current nightly rate.
It is the camper's responsibility to insure himself: the camper is responsible for the surveillance of his personal objects (bicycles, etc.). The campsite declines all responsibilitý in the event of incidents falling under the civil responsibilitý of the camper.
All customers must comply with the provisions of the house rules. Each tenant in title is responsible for disturbances and nuisances caused by persons staying with him or visiting him.
6.Pitches
Arrivals are from 2pm and departures before 12am. For late departures, an additional day may be charged at the current nightly rate.

The campsite declines all responsibilitý in the event of incidents falling under the civil responsibilitý of the camper. All customers must comply with the provisions of the house rules. Each tenant in title is responsible for disturbances and nuisances caused by people or animals staying with or visiting them.
7.Late arrivals
All rentals / pitches must be occupied before 7pm on the day of arrival indicated on your contract. In the absence of a message justifying a late arrival, the rental / pitch will become vacant 24 hours after the initially scheduled date. All late arrivals must be notified by e-mail to the campsite number so that arrangements can be made to welcome you.
8. Modification or cancellation of your reservation
By the customer :
Any request to increase the length of your stay will be carried out according to availability and current rates.
In the event of late arrival of more than 24 hours, without notification on your part, your reservation will be considered as cancelled and the reserved pitch may be allocated to another customer, and you will be charged the full amount of your stay based on the quote.
Any shortened or interrupted stay will not give rise to any reimbursement and the stay will be due in full; in addition, the campsite may rent out your free accommodation at its convenience.
The dates of your stay may be changed up to 30 days before your arrival by e-mail or post, subject to availability. After this deadline, no changes can be made to the arrival or departure dates of your stay.
In the event of cancellation of the stay, the amount paid́ in vacation vouchers cannot be reimbursed in accordance with article L.112-14 I. of the French Monetary and Financial Code. In this case, a non-refundable voucher with a validity period́ of 2 years, usable at Camping Le Grand Large will be drawn up for the amount paid in Holiday Vouchers, after deduction of the Booking Fee.
WITH optional Cancellation Insurance €20 :
- You can take out cancellation insurance up to a maximum of 7 days after receiving your deposit invoice.
-The deposit paid by the client will be refunded (excluding booking fees) if the client withdraws from the booking by registered letter 30 days before the start of the holiday.
-The total deposit paid by the client will be retained if the booking is cancelled between 30 days and 15 days before the start of the holiday.
-The total amount of the stay will be due if the booking is cancelled less than 15 days before the start of the stay (except for medical reasons or death with proof).
WITHOUT Cancellation Insurance option
- You can take out cancellation insurance up to a maximum of 7 days after receiving your deposit invoice.
-The deposit paid by the client is forfeited (as soon as it is received) in the event of cancellation, whatever the date of cancellation or the reason.
- The total amount of the stay will be due by the client if he/she cancels the present reservation less than 30 days before the beginning of the stay.
By Camping Le Grand Large :
In the event of an interrupted or abbreviated staý for any of the following reasons:
Closure of borders by administrative decision,
Administrative closure of the campsite,
Limitation of travel to a number of kilometers by administrative decision not allowing to come to the campsite.
A refund of the amount corresponding to the nights not used will be issued by the campsite, after deduction of the booking fee.
In the event of a stay being cancelled for one of the following reasons:
Closure of borders by administrative decision,
Administrative closure of the campsite,
Limitation of travel to a number of kilometers by administrative decision not allowing travel to the campsite.
A refund of the amount of the stay will be made, excluding booking fees.
These refund conditions apply even in the absence of cancellation insurance taken out by the customer.
Apart from the reasons mentioned above, any stay interrupted or shortened́ (late arrival, early departure) due to the customer will not give rise to a refund or voucher.
9. Mediator
In the event of a dispute and after having referred the matter to the Management of the establishment, any customer of the campsite has the possibility of referring the matter to the Town Hall of Savines-le-Lac, within a maximum period of one year from the date of the written complaint, by registered letter, to the operator.
10.Image
You authorize Le Grand Large campsite to photograph, record or film you during your stay and to use said images, sounds, videos and recordings in any medium (in particular on Le Grand Large websites or pages - including Facebook and Instagram - on Le Grand Large presentation and promotional materials and in travel or tourist guides). This authorization applies both to you and to persons staying with you. Its sole purpose is to promote and animate the establishment and may in no way damage your reputation. This authorization is granted free of charge, for all countries and for a period of 5 years.
11. Pets
Pets are welcome at Camping Le Grand Large (except 1st and 2nd category dogs) for a fee payable at the time of booking. They must be kept on a leash at all times. Dogs are not allowed in food shops or accommodation. Vaccination records for dogs and cats must be up to date.
Pet owners must pick up after their pets and leave the campsite clean. Poop bags are available on the campsite.
12. Hybrid and electric vehicles
For safety reasons, it is forbidden to recharge a hybrid or electric vehicle at any of the campsite's electricity points. Any breach of this rule will result in the application of a financial penalty by Camping Le Grand Large. This penalty is set each year by the Municipal Council.
13. Mooring buoy rental
Mooring buoy rental is exclusively reserved for campsite customers. Rental must correspond to the dates of stay. All mooring buoy renters must be in possession of up-to-date boat insurance.
